About Fox
Pub for eclectic dishes & Sunday roasts, plus a large beer garden heated & covered in winter.
This welcoming local is less than a minute from the Grand Union canal and is a favourite with canal walkers, cyclists, and dog walkers. Originally a Royal Brewery house. The pub was saved from the developers in 2001 and has won the branch Pub of the Year award on many occasions. The pub changed hands and was refurbished in 2020 extending the pub into the garden and creating a new partly covered large outdoor seating area. The pub hosts a well-attended weekly quiz on Thursday nights and has two beer festivals throughout the year. It has been reported that all beer except Pride are served through a sparkler.

Can't fault this pub. The atmosphere is so nice, soon as we entered the outdoor seating area we felt a buzz, everyone was happy and on good spirits and lots of cute dogs around. The service is amazing and the staff are so friendly and polite. The food was delicious 😋 The grounds were kept nice and clean. Great pub.

First time here visiting my friend, went for a walk by the canals and stopped here for a bitw to eat. Lovely pub, perfect little local, the outside was buzzing but too loud for me, inside was nice, service was lovely, enjoyed our food. The chicken bites were delicious.

The Fox is a great pub in a really nice location next the the canal. Very popular with the locals and it’s easy to see why. Great cosy atmosphere inside but the outdoor space and garden is amazing. Perfect all year round but even better in the summer. An outdoor bar and service area. The staff all very friendly and helpful.
