About Old Hat
Traditional pub with simple all-day menu, sport on plasma screens, live music and a heated garden.
There has been a pub on this site since 1750. Although it now has an Irish theme, real ale was installed in January 2011 in the back bar. With so much wood visible inside, it can be described as barn like. The pub is one of the few still to have a Carvery between noon and 8pm on Sundays. Live music is performed most weekends, and daily newspapers are available. The rear of the pub has exposed brick and a skylight. The back beer garden has a very large smoking shelter. The pub was renamed and refurbished in 2017.

What a great looking pub - both inside and out. I enjoy the atmosphere and the music there very much. I am planning to go again for the live music evening soon. Chicken Sunday roast was fine (£15). Beef burger was better (£13). The price was extremely reasonable.

Been here twice and I really like this pub. The atmosphere and decor is awesome, plenty of space including outdoor seating as well. They have board games as well which is a neat touch. The pints were affordable, most of them under 6 GBP which is appreciated. Haven’t tried their food yet except for small nibbles which was decent and their sticky toffee pudding (absolutely decadent and delicious). The people are nice and the patrons do have a nice time there. Music is a bit loud for my liking but didn’t mind too much since they played 80s pop hits. They have some good live bands play here…

What a splendid place. The Old Hat in West Ealing is a delightful pub with two large bars and an expansive beer garden complete with a very friendly pub cat. A great range of keg beers. Only one cask ale available during my visit. Great staff and a good cold pint of lager, much enjoyed! This place is well worth a visit.

The Old Hat is my local pub. The beer garden is my favourite area. A relaxing place to enjoy a cold pint and smoke my tobacco pipe. The service is great. Friendly staff.
