About Gladstone Arms
Musicians' pub with regular live music & comedy shows and a relaxed upstairs lounge.
Small and welcoming pub tucked away down a side street around the corner from Borough underground station. A particular favourite with locals. Has a downstairs bar, upstairs lounge and small roof terrace. Has a continuing strong commitment to live music. Was threatened with demolition and replacement with an apartment block in 2015, but a strong campaign by locals and the securing of Asset of Community Value status by the local CAMRA branch helped see off this threat. Closed in late 2016 but reopened in late April 2017 with new tenants and a more contemporary internal decor, but continued regular live music. Has three handpumps and 10 keg taps.

Well worth a walk from London Bridge. This Desi pub has great food and great character. Tasty dishes to satiate the inevitable hunger after a few drinks. The pub also has quite a history with it having been the after work drinking hole for Stock, Aitken and Waterman. I sat there, beer in hand, trying to imagine what it must have been like with Mel & Kim or Rick Astley bowling up to the bar.

This charming pub offers an extraordinary Indian-inspired roast dinner that is an absolute delight. The friendly staff and the pub's distinctive character create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

A lovely little 'Desi' pub, with a good range of beers, and Indian food, including Indian-style Sunday Roasts. It's an independent, so had much more of a choice about which beers it stocks than most pubs, and it uses this freedom to have some good local beers. Very cosy, and very friendly staff - highly recommended

Excellent little pub hidden in the back streets of Southwark. Be warned its very popular and a lot of the tables were pre-booked. Great range of craft ales and staff are passionate about what they sell
