About Lord Clyde
Edwardian pub with original features including brass, mirrors and open fires.
A gem of a street corner building with lovely external Truman tilework, inside traditional decor with wooden half panelled walls throughout, comfortable seating and curtains over the doors. Was in the same family for over 60 years until early 2020, now under new management. Tucked away near Borough Underground station, well worth a visit to step back in time. Has one main bar and a rear room with its own serving hatch. Pavement seating for clement weather.

Traditional pub with a community feel. Was very busy - the barman could have done with some help. Also a shame that a couple of the beers were off but overall a good experience.

Outstanding, classic pub in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The kind of place I would love to have as my local drinking establishment. Came in the early afternoon on a Saturday and they had all the appropriate sports on the TV. Families slowly streamed in. Seems like the perfect spot for everyone in the area. Every room inside was comfortable. Even the bathrooms were great. Bartenders were very friendly and poured a good pint. Landlord on cask is a winner for me!

A lovely pub. I love the carpet and the vibe. It used to be my favorite in London, BUT prices are now very high. I visited 20 London pubs over four days and this pub was the most expensive of them all. I had a meal. Quality of food was so so..

Great pub, love coming here for some lunch in the week or a few drinks after work. The staff are super friendly, and really go above and beyond to make sure their customers are well looked-after - especially Lindsey and Michael. Lovely outdoor space away from the road, would recommend their lunchtime sandwich deals.

An excellent little pub a little bit off the beaten path in Southwark. Always a really friendly welcome - a great atmosphere in the winter and an excellent outside area for summer. A proper pub.
