About Grange Tavern

Large pub with comfortable leather seats, heated walled garden and upstairs stage with separate bar.

A former Watneys house dating back to 1873 replacing the Cricketers, it was bought by Young's in 2007 from the Spirit Group and a major refurbishment followed. The pub now prides itself on its food and drink. A daily menu of freshly prepared dishes is available throughout the pub from the open kitchen including in the raised dining area. The walls are decorated with stills and posters from various films. Tuesday is poker night, Thursday is the quiz and comedy is on occasional Sundays. The pub boasts two rooms that can be hired for functions - the upstairs reading room with its own bar and large screen TV and the Summer House.

A super place for great food and exceptional service. Had a big birthday party here. Ben was the team member who made our evening brilliant. It is a great event the location and the venue itself is really good. All works. No complaints.

Came here for the Sunday roast. The place inside is very posh and elegant. I start with 6 chicken wings seasoned with BBQ and peach sauce. Then I had the famous Sunday roast of Jacob's rib of beef. The plate was huge and full of all the ingredients. To finish I had sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Hugo the waiter who was in charge of my table is a real asset, helped me to enjoy my experience to the best standards. Will definitely come back again soon when I have the chance

They have an incredible Sunday roast menu! The roast chicken and beef was cooked to perfection, and the Yorkshire pudding was fluffy and delicious. The portion sizes were very generous as seen in the pictures. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I hosted a child’s 3rd birthday party in the Common Room & its the second time I have hosted at The Grange, and it’s been fantastic each time. The staff are extremely helpful. Especially Ana who helped us set up and assisted us with everything we needed throughout! The food is amazing & I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Cozy atmosphere with a spacious, nicely decorated outdoor seating area that's pet-friendly. Excellent drink selection. Super helpful staff, with a special mention to Ashley for always taking care of everyone.
