About Green Dragon
Relaxed pub championing local beers, with a simple menu, weekend DJs, a pool table and live jazz.
Lively pub near Croydon's historic market, which is popular with all ages. Up to seven beers are available through the hand-pumps; the range is constantly changing and sometimes includes those from local breweries. It also has eight craft keg lines and serves up to six boxed ciders. A wide variety of music and other events takes place upstairs including a Monday quiz, poker on Tuesdays and ukelele jam sessions on the first and third Sundays.

Great ambience and good vibe. They also have a pool table inside. Though food needs to be a little better as it wasn’t worth the price. Rest everything was good. Good staff and clean underground washrooms.

Very good pub in a former bank about ten minutes walk from East Croydon station. Six cask beers on handpump when I visited including a porter. The pub also had half a dozen ciders and perrys available served straight from BiBs. The upstairs function room is available for hire and hosts weekly events such as quizzes.

I recently visited The Green Dragon in Croydon and had an absolutely delightful experience. The fish and chips were simply outstanding – the fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were golden and delicious. The Hawaiian pizza was another highlight, with a perfect balance of sweet pineapple and savory ham, all on a wonderfully baked crust. However, the chicken wings could use a bit more work. Nice place. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Food. Pool table. Clean toilets. Absence of crack heads, which is desirable in a comfortable inn to settle down for an evening. The world's supply of gin varieties plus a good beer selection, including ales. Wines of unknown quality. Like the layout, feel and vibe of the place. Try it out
