About Greyhound
Classic pub with dark wood interior and banquettes, serving cask ales and an eclectic food menu.
Away from the busy High Street, this is a large pub with two distinct areas, the rear of which is available for functions. Originally dating from 1697 and rebuilt in 1899, it was destroyed by a gas explosion in 1977; the original plans were used for the subsequent rebuilding two years later. It is described by the Council as "an attractive, deftly designed building with effective and controlled use of decoration".

Holiday trip. We were welcomed very well and the guy at the counter gave us very good advice on the choice of beers, making us taste more than one variety. Pleasant atmosphere.

Whilst the food and atmosphere was good the service was very poor. We waited 45 minutes for our main meal to be served. We should have been told that there were delays when we ordered surely? Because of the delay when we tried to order dessert we were told that the kitchen had shut. Staff need to communicate much better

Had an amazing lunch at the pub, and the service was top-notch! Adrian, the manager, made sure everything ran smoothly and was so welcoming. The food was delicious, and the whole experience made it a perfect spot for a midday meal. Highly recommend!”

Truly English pub in the heart of one of the most touristic areas in London! The barman was friendly and competent, very kind and efficient. The food good and tasty, the atmosphere relaxed. I'll be back!

This sports bar is a gem! The atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. The wide array of screens ensures you never miss a moment of the action. The food is top-notch, with an impressive menu that caters to all tastes. The staff are friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're a die-hard sports fan or just looking for a great place to hang out, this bar is a must-visit!"
