About Griffin Belle
Popular and compact Victorian pub, rather dwarfed by surrounding modern buildings and close to the huge Nine Elms development. Refurbished in contemporary style in 2017, with a further make-over in 2018, the interior now features bench seating, plastic foliage and an array of TV screens showing sport (can be noisy at times). Upper floor has been converted to hotel rooms.
Cask ale is not always available, though there are two handpumps. Open for breakfast from 7.30 (8.30 Sundays).
Formerly Wyvils then Vauxhall Griffin, originally Builders Arms.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Griffin Belle pub, and I have to say, their fish and chips were outstanding! The fish was crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky inside. The batter had just the right amount of seasoning, and the chips were golden, thick-cut, and deliciously crunchy. It was clear that everything was made fresh and with great care. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was spot-on. Paired with a cozy atmosphere amongst friends and friendly service, it was a delightful experience. Highly recommend if you're craving top-notch fish and…

Stayed here whilst visiting the Kia Oval. Lovely decor. Fantastic staff who could not do enough for us. Made us feel so welcome. The room wasn't huge but big enough for my daughter and I and was equipped with everything we could need. Spotlessly clean too. The food was lovely, I especially enjoyed Breakfast. We will certainly be coming back again

Details of Stay: - The Griffin Belle Hotel and Bar - One Night Stay, September 17th 2024, in order to attend an Embassy Interview at 9:30am the next morning. Honest Review : It's fantastic and this is your sign to just book it!!! Read on if you're not convinced yet. This establishment and the staff who work there clearly care deeply, thoroughly understand their clientell and have a great business ethic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Check out was 11am and they have a room to store your cases in if needed once you've checked out. I truly do feel like I found a little gem to stay at…

What a special little pub! We checked in after having our original travel plans cancelled and we were flustered. The guy (sorry, I didn't get your name) spent some time advising us on what to do now that we suddenly had 10 days with nothing planned. He gave us just the right amount of advice and space to help us make a new travel itinerary. Plus - he kept the beers flowing. The next morning, when we lost our passport (but found it again!) Michelle and her colleague were lovely and supportive. They were happy to look after our luggage after we checked out. Oh, and did I mention the amazing…

We arrived in London for a 3 night stay on Monday 16th September 2024 at The Griffin Belle London. It was just a two minute walk from Nine Elms Underground Train Station to Wyvil road which the hotel is on. The warm friendly welcome we received from Lauren (The Griffin Belle Manageress) on arrival got the mini-break off to a great start. A free complimentary drink while we checked-in was a great touch. The rooms were small, compact & clean with a spacious en-suite bathroom, all rooms came as standard with TV, hairdryer, iron, tea, coffee making facilities. These rooms were cleaned every day to…
