Chef clearly cares about the food he/she serves. We had the set menu and I must say it didn't feel like a set menu. There was plenty of food beautifully served and very tasty. Great settings. Lovely attentive and engaging waiter. Will be back.

I recently visited The Gun in Canary Wharf for a Sunday roast and overall, it was a mixed experience. I opted for the beef roast, which was exceptionally good. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour, making it the highlight of the meal. However, the Yorkshire pudding was a bit of a letdown. It seemed a little old and wasn't as fresh as I would have liked, leaving it somewhat floppy instead of the crispy texture I prefer. The roast potatoes, too, were disappointing; they were soggy and lacked the crispiness one expects from a good Sunday roast. Despite these issues, the…

A fantastic dining experience. The service was super attentive and they gave excellent recommendations. The cote de boeuf for two was excellent. The fancy smoked negroni was well presented although I didn’t care for the actual smoke flavour. The triple cooked chips were perfect, and made excellent dipping vehicles for the bone marrow. Unreservedly recommend.

I remember the Gun from the 60's/70's when I was little because there was an outdoor area where I could drink my coke and eat crisps. Fast forward 50 odd years it pretty much the same, but more gastro pub. Great food, excellent service and with a bit of London History thrown in. Well worth a visit.

Great pub, very good food, well cooked steaks. There is a lot of history on this building, there is a nice function room upstairs which we rented for a private dinner, which offers a very nice view of the O2 peninsula.
