Lovely ambiance and food. I have an allergy and spoke with Martina about it on arrival. She couldn’t do enough to make sure I felt comfortable, even checked with the bar staff that my allergy wouldn’t be a problem for drinks. I really can’t stress enough how professional she was when it came to making clear what I could / couldn’t have and reassuring me she had communicated with the rest of the team.

We had such a fantastic dinner at The Hound. Stand out dishes were the grilled prawns which are cooked to perfection and the pea risotto is delicious. We also really enjoyed the fried chicken, smoked salmon (that cucumber relish goes perfectly!) and the croquettes. What is really amazing is that for a high-end pub children are very well catered for with a really lovely kids' menu. We had the fish and chips and the poached chicken which was served with a tomato sauce, really healthy and delicious. Service was very slick, amazing considering they've just opened, and it was lovely to see the…

Best foods and Gluten-free options in London. We (I) had the best eating out experience last night at the Hound. The staff were very accommodating, the place with the open-air court yard made us feel like staying out all day in the sun; however the foods & drinks stand out the most. There are plenty of choices for everyone, mine was the Bhaji (gluten-free), freshly prepared and so easy to enjoy. The Hound Home-made Scotch eggs looked and tasted amazing. Our main courses were huge, the Fish and chips were simply delicious and my steak was cooked to perfection. We did not have room for the…

This terrace outside of the Hound is very attractive. My wife and I went last Sunday to eat outside, but they were not serving food outside. It would have been great to be told 'before' ordering the drinks. On Sunday they only serve inside, fair enough. We wanted to try again, so we went on a Tuesday evening and sat outside again. First, it took ages for the order to be taken (it was not busy outside - 2 staff chatting), then we got told they only served starters outside. 10 minutes later as we were having our drinks, the staff said we could order mains too. We ordered a cheese burger and a…

Boy has this pub changed for the better! The elegant wood panelling. The decor, with its nod to the history of the pub. The furnishings. All very tasteful. Can’t wait for the Christmas vibe here! Three of us enjoyed a really tasty 3 course lunch with beer, cocktails and a bottle of house wine. The staff were very attentive and helpful from the start and were able to inform us about the availability of guest beers and about the wine options. We had 3 different starters which were shared and we all enjoyed each one. My favourite was the soda bread with whipped Guinness butter! The mains were…
