About Huntsman & Hounds
Refurbished, much-extended local with a range of real ales, including seasonal guest beer selections from micro-breweries. There is a range of meat, seafood and vegetarian food offerings through the day until 10pm. A set-price buffet is available, as are daily specials. Weekly quiz nights on Wednesdays at 5pm. South-facing beer garden and large car park. Toilets (other than disabled) are upstairs.

Food was decent, starters & main. A good few drinks. Pub was very quiet for a Saturday night (think there was only 1 other couple) 7 of us all enjoyed food but two people disappointed due to there being no ale available. Despite 4 or 5 pumps showing ale 🤷♂️

We had my dad's wake here and the food was lovely. Great choice for everyone. Very tasty and fresh. Could not have asked for a better place to share with family and friends. Thank you for such a great service. A+

Marcelle the waitress was rather nice & accommodating, seating us by a warm fireplace. The young barman was helpful & friendly too. Can't complain about the service provided. Loved my seabass meal & small dessert of waffle+strawberry, cream & chocolate sauce with latte. Happy to know they serve small desserts! Had 40% off the mains & free Guinness with Ember Inn app. Extra bonus. Would recommend eating there. Not overly crowded either. Nice atmosphere.

Really nice restaurant food excellent an best of all they allow you to take digs in. Had a lovely catch up lunch with friends. Also noticed the cater for funerals

Great night at the weekly quiz Lorraine the quiz mistress was so funny really enjoyed it. The staff here are so nice Steve, Marcie, Julie and Joanne especially. And Lorraine- both quiz mistress and chef too.
