Came to Hydrant for dinner with a friend, reserved a table and overall really enjoyed the experience. Food was very good, big portions and well made. We probably ordered too much for the 2 of us: fish and chips, calamari, shrimps and cauliflower. The service was so nice, and although it was really crowded everything came really quick. The only thing I didnt like were the gin and tonics. They didnt have any options and we ordered double twice but they seemed more like a weak single.. Well better go with a non alcoholic beer, cant go wrong :)

Decent pub in the city. Had a few pints and a burger here on a Thursday night. Beers were the price you would expect for the area (quite expensive), the food was nice and the staff were all really friendly. They didn't have the football on so not a pub to watch sport if that is what you are after.

I asked if it was possible to not put cucumber in one of the drinks. He told me that without cucumber, the cocktail was pointless. So I tell myself that if it's a few slices, I'll remove them from the cocktail. I paid £26 for 2 cocktails, served in water glasses and which…

What a lovely welcome from the staff on a Saturday night. Had a shocking day and made better by their friendly service. Great setting, great beer selection and food was perfect.
