About Jack Horner
Victorian oak-panelled pub with original tiled flooring, etched glass panels and chandeliers.
Standing on the site of the Bedford Head (1776-1941), this is a large corner pub converted from bank premises in 1994, now a Fuller's Ale & Pie House. The interior has a semi-island counter, partitioned seating around the walls and half height wood-panelling. Which makes it quite an impressive place to visit.
Can be busy and noisy much of the time. On the bar, as well as the usual Fuller's cask ales and a guest there is a decent range of craft keg and bottled beers.

Cannot recommend this Great British Pub enough for its wonderful Sunday Roast. Perfectly cooked. Meat was tender and served with fresh seasonal vegetables and Jus/Gravy. All served with condiments.Hats off to the Chef !! .Not your standard normal pub lunch. Plus was asked when ordering any dietary requirements There is a separate dining area too. Make sure you give it a try. 10/10

We stopped in about 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and got in for the last orders of the night. We ordered a Yorkshire Pudding, Burger, and Fish & Chips. It was all delicious and cooked perfectly. We were so happy to be so well taken care of. The service was fast and friendly. Thank you to the whole staff for a lovely meal.

Nice old fashioned pub, sadly the service was very poor. Despite not being busy the 3 girls were not very attentive, and left tables uncleared. 3 different groups had to go to the bar to pay the bill (myself included) as they hadn't noticed we had finished our meals and come over to offer more drinks or dessert. I had Lamb Roast, sadly the lamb shank was fatty and all bone, again because the staff didn't check in with me to make sure everything was OK, I didn't get the chance to flag this. I really could have done with a 2nd drink, but decided not to wait and bought one in the shop across…

The day turned into a bit of a pub crawl, and we walked passed here so we popped in. Super friendly staff, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Surprisingly busy for the time of day, but we found somewhere to sit and had a great time. They even had outside seating.

I went here for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. All of the food was excellent, though I’ll give a special shout out to the beef which was cooked perfectly. The bar itself was super lively and had a great atmosphere, every seat in the place was taken. Despite that, the staff was very attentive and the food came quickly. I would definitely come here again next time I’m in London.
