About Kings Ford
Traditional pub with dark wood decor and pavement tables, serving real ales & all-day pub grub.
A spacious Wetherspoon conversion, the long single room has the bar halfway down on the right-hand side. There are 10 handpumps, four on the front serving regular ales and six serving the cider and guest ales, including at least one from a local brewery. As well as the two main Wetherspoon beer festivals, it also holds local beer festivals and Meet the Brewer nights. Two large screens are mute except for major sporting events. Fairly decent Spoons in Chingford, but not the posh ends. One of the cheaper ones, too. Full of proper east end geeeezers! Good friendly service and always clean, with usually four or five well-kept guest ales on. Better than most! Handy if you're walking over the River Lea or Tottenham Marshes.

£2.26 for a perfect pint of Abbots Ale is outstanding in outer London. Then you have the excellent breakfast menu, superb value for money. Efficient and super quick service, ok it was just after 11am. Yes there might be the odd customer sharing your space, making the most of the pay once for tea/coffee and stay all day and see Wetherspoons as a community centre, but why not? You don’t even have to get off your arse to order your next drink; if you use the app, and why wouldn’t you; free Wifi!

The food here is really great with a service that makes you feel comfortable, so overall this is going in my top 3 places to eat.

The King's Ford is a very reasonably priced pub. The food is also reasonably priced. It can get very busy. We had the small fish and chips as the larger size was too big for us.
