I think we shocked the bartenders. We were quite ready for shenanigans. We walked in and the room became silent. The existing patrons just looked at us for a minute and then went about their business. It's a beautiful home town pub! Inviting and open with a pretty standard menu with a twist of flavor and a little bit of heat. The bar tenders and the wait staff weren't so versed on american cocktails, but they were very accommodating, and after a little bit of time, they warmed up and were pretty cool. Lovely traditional pub offering a wide variety of main meals and quick bite snacks. Friendly experienced landlord and staff. Used by the locals. Had a lovely steak sandwich with melted cheese and a couple of pints of Guinness. Good selection of beers, spirits and soft drinks. Plenty of parking front and rear. Function room for hire.

Had the one of best burger I've had in years, thick juicy and spiced chips were great , decent mayonnaise, couldn't find fault. The publican shaun 👌 nice guy funny and loves dogs .. did I say you can bring your dog here, too! I'm coming back for sure.. would have taken a pic of the food but ate it all before I even thought of it

Highly recommend this great venue Staff are super-friendly and efficient. Food and drink excellent value for money. Can't wait to visit again. Had a family gathering in the function room. Was fantastic. Staff were so friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend for events and functions.

Great entertainment, live acts on Saturdays, great 80s night 1st friday of the month and karaoke 3rd fridays, nice friendly pub with a good function room available to hire
