About Lewisham Tavern
Former Ind Coope pub which has had several incarnations including one as "One" then back to "White Hart" as a bar and pizzeria with an emphasis on late night opening. Closed early September 2017 over licensing issues. Re-opened April 2018 as Lewisham Tavern with new bright external lighting and a thoroughly updated interior and relaunched to try to be a community local. Real ale was introduced when the pub re-opened with 2 handpumps. Multiple HD TV screens always showing sport. A pool table is hidden round the corner of the dog-leg floor. Ladies' toilets are upstairs.

Astonishingly reasonable prices in a time where some pubs are charging £7 for a pint. Nice place to meditate over a John Smiths for an hour, good atmosphere, friendly staff, what's not to love?

Really good local pub good drink price's. Large pub with pool table darts board ideal bar to watch sports. Called in tonight with my daughter for a couple of beers' nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Truly the best pub in London. Cracking bar staff and lovely locals make this corner pub in Lewisham a testament to the pub culture of London. They host a fantastic karaoke night. Anyone who doesn’t like this pub, I wouldn’t care to know them. UP THE TAVERN. I don’t think they do food but fantastic crisp/salty snack selection so they get 5’s across the board.
