Lovely pub. Nicely lit inside and had a good soundtrack when I popped in early on a Saturday evening. The cool atmosphere was let down slightly by the odd decision to have muted ITV, which had Catchphrase on, playing on all the large screens/projectors across the pub.

The staff here are standout out. Incredibly friendly when booking and whilst we were there. Also lots working over the england game so there was never a queue at the bar and food came out quick. Spacious with air-conditioning and a lovely beer garden. The food is top notch too.

Generally a great local pub, spacious, quite a few tables and it would definitely be qualified as a sports bar. A West Ham pub, if that matters to you. The staff was fairly young but all lovely and helpful, and the food, despite it being outsourced to a small team, was delicious. The burgers and fries were very tasty and affordable, considering how much some pubs charge these days. The quantities were decent but not excessive. This is something to bear in mind. A disappointment was the fact that there were dessert options. But overall, a decent local pub, clean and not too routy on a midweek…

Went for the rebranded launch of the kitchen at the Leyton Star, the food was delicious, everything perfectly cooked and substantial. Beautifully presented and good value. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere as ever. The nut roast wellington was excellent and both meats, pork and beef, cooked superbly. Strong recommend, definitely up there with the best roast lunches in the area.

Amazing party venue! We booked the karaoke room and main function room for my wife’s birthday on a Saturday afternoon and evening. The space was lovely, we decorated it and got some soft play stuff in for the kids. Everyone (c.70 people) had a fantastic time! The staff were superb the beer and the burgers were delicious and everyone got served quickly and well. The sound system was also really good. Many many thanks and big love Leyton Star!
