About Little Driver
Built 1851 and refitted c.1900. Single room with an almost island bar servery. There is a large beer garden at the rear often frequented by a local cat. The four TV screens can show different matches. Following the expiry of the lease was reopened as a Craft Union pub in May 2022. The ‘Hoare & Co’s Celebrated Stout’ gilded mirror on the right hand wall was removed during the renovation. Real Al is not always available but more prevalent around West Ham home games.

Popped in early, around midday, for a soft drink and a packet of crisps, and had a lovely welcome from the lady behind the bar. What a star - she was friendly and told us about the garden out the back as the weather was great. There's no substitute for friendly, engaged staff, and this place seems to have it. Popular with football fans by the looks of it, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely pop in if you're passing. It's a stones throw from Bow Road tube station.

The Little Driver on Bow Road, close to the underground station is the most fine East End boozer. An enthusiastic following for the Cheltenham festival being broadcast over the many screens. Plenty of beer on offer from the keg but not one for the Real ale lovers (as far as I could see). This is a pub to meet with your mates, have a chinwag, put the world to rights and enjoy your company. A great place for a beer.

This is a West Ham United pub with Irons memorabilia on the walls. Prices are cheap for London which was a nice surprise. Great for sports as there are loads of TVs. The garden is what sets it apart though. A really fun space out the back with chairs, tables and a number of booths all with their own TV. Didn't go at night but they have festoon lighting so it is probably good on warm evenings too.

Great pub. proper little boozer. made so welcome and we were from Birmingham. Belfast. Sheffield and Newcastle. popped in for one after seeing ABBA and ended up staying for a good few hours...

Cheap. Pub going down hill since taken over by Craft Union. Bar staff are often nice but don't stay due to poor management. Toilets usually dirty, TVs broken. Prices change at weekends and on West Ham home games. Really sad that something that's been part of the East End for so long is slowly being ruined.
