About London Apprentice
Famous grade-II listed former Isleworth Brewery (now Taylor Walker brand) riverside pub in 'old' Isleworth, with an unusual name and interesting history. It dates back to Tudor times, although it was rebuilt during the first half of the eighteenth century. The first recorded license dates back to 1731 and it was originally kept open all night for the benefit of travellers on the Thames. The interior is classic 'traditional', although opened out, with an upstairs Riverview Room. Outside is a large patio with many tables, and some also on the riverbank. Regularly have three guest ales and one cider. Food is very popular, served daily from 12noon until 10.00pm. Usually some music Fri. eves, board games Wed, poker Thu, and Sun is quiz night. It is well worth the short walk from the nearest bus stop (H37 - the 117 & 267 stop a little further away). Note road access is only currently available via Park Road.

We've been visiting on a weekend and it wasn't very busy at all. It's a truly beautiful pub in a historic building with a wonderful outdoor area on the river. The food was good, although my dish with haddock and beans was a bit spicy, and it was not mentioned on the menu. Other than that, it was tasting good. The service it was very laid back. Overall it is a wonderful pub and it is certainly worth a visit.

The perfect setting for a glorious pub. The London Apprentice is a wonderful 'country' pub in London, overlooking the Thames by the Isleworth Ait. A great selection of beers of varying flavours both from the keg and the cask, including their own Apprentice bitter! Sit down and soak up the atmosphere. The menu offers the full range of Greene King pub meals, something for everyone. A most enjoyable venue to sit down, have a drink along with something to eat. Well worth a visit.

Have seen about three management changes in the last 6-7 years. The latest one, although nice, are not as friendly as the previous ones, that made people feel specially welcomed. The ladies restrooms still need much attention: door lock, paper in its “right” place, message to customers of “please leave the toilet as you would like to find them” or similar-educating clients is at times urgent. The building needs some renovations by Greene King, well overdue. The pub food is nice, usual LA style. Had my Vegan burger 🍔, nice! The pub old and lovely atmosphere is what really makes it. More…

Attended a party here last night, food was delicious and staff were very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble, manager went out of his way on a few occasions to help customers with dietary requirements and questions. Location is beautiful, right next to the river, well kept garden with flowers, and ladies were kept clean throughout the evening. 10/10 for us and we would definitely return
