About Mannions Prince Arthur
Thankfully still open and cask beer recently introduced. Another pleasant pub retaining a lot of its original features and is a good example for researching pub architecture and how it has changed over the years. There may be a deal with Sky Sports and Sharp's/Molson Coors, whereby you get the beer cheap (Doom Bar) when you get Sky Sports, probably why lots of smaller keg pubs are now doing Doom Bar. It looks like 30% reduction in cost for Sky Sports negotiated for Punch and Admiral chains.

🚇Tottenham Hale 🍺 £4.60 Guinness Mannion’s Prince Arthur Is an Irish Pub located in the southeast corner of Tottenham. The nearest Tube is Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters is also close by. This Victorian built boozer was built in 1866 and is run by former Roscommon GAA football star Michael and his good lady wife Rose. This is good size one bar pub that has some beautiful detailing and unique features. At the heart of the pub is the servery which has intricate carved panels, a solid counter and brass hand and foot rails. At the far end of the bar is a pool table and a couple of large…

Lovely pub had good chat with the owner. Was surprised that the Guinness was only average in there. Expected it to be very good.

Went to this pub for a game of pool as it is our local. Was waiting at a table for the pool table to become free, and the bar tender approached our group and told us that we need to buy a drink, and that “this isn’t an amusement hall”. Considering we were going to stay for a few games of pool and put money into the table, and likely buy a drink between games, we were disappointed to receive this kind of service. You’d think that since the pub was also empty on a Wednesday afternoon, the staff would be happy to even see some people in there. Won’t be back.

Nothing special from the outside but plenty of character on the inside. Downside, minimum £10 spend on a card, only wanted to have couple, so had to buy crisps too. Nice pint of Doom bar all the same.

Great pub, good craic with the lads behind the bar and a great pint of Guinness
