Classic london pub in plein borough market place. Eated fish and chips very good and hamburger with tomatos sauce in english style (not so good for italian people). Location tipical. Wide and good beer choise.

Came for a couple of cask ales and they were spot on. Little outdoor area with cask tabletops to watch the crowds, inside not busy at all. Food options traditional pub fare.

It's our 'go to' place whenever meeting friends and family. This time we were around 6 people and we asked for separate bills. Service was quick and efficient. Food was delicious, two of us had the seabass, one had the caesar salad with chicken, two had the steak and ale pie and another had the fish and chips. We sat upstairs in the dining area overlooking Borough Market. All in all a very pleasant experience. It's very popular and booking is essential if you want to eat a meal along with your drinks.

We came in for a quick fish and chips and beer and were really pleased with relaxed service and atmosphere. Nice premises, clean lavatories, reasonable prices.

Great spot that opens early for the market traders opposite borough market, cheap Guinness for London, old school pub, lovely place to visit, highly recommend.
