About Marquis of Granby
Classic, wood-panelled boozer with banquettes and bar stools, plus a pool table.
A traditional, wood panelled ex Charrington's pub with an original central island bar and an Irish influence. Local bus stops are named after this wedge shaped landmark pub. Note The House of Toby tiling outside. Serves two regular real ales and sometimes dabbles in a third one, sometimes from a local brewery enterprise. The single handpump on one counter is not operational so you'll be served from one of the three on another side of the island bar. During term time may be very busy with students. There are several tables on the front pavement.
No dogs except assistance dogs permitted.

Wonderful restaurant, friendly welcome by bar staff. Ordered our food on the Greene king app. Very tasty food options. Beautifully decorated pub. Like a Winter wonderland. Staff were wonderful and very kind and checked up on us regularly. We will definitely visit again, if and when in the area.

Very student heavy but good old style pub with good service. They do drink deals for the young uns so saw lots of red bull and whatever shots doing the rounds. Toilets but run down but not the very worst. Atmosphere is good here, sport on the box, music on the juke, busy place with a good feel to it.
