About Marylebone Cricket Club

Sports ground owned by Marylebone Cricket Club and home to and Middlesex County Cricket Club.

The MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) is a private members' club and, as such, the clubhouse (Pavilion) is open, in general, only to Members of the MCC, their guests and Members of clubs playing at Lord's. Jacket and tie are required. There are four bars, which sell beers from Marston's portfolio eg Pedigree, EPA, Brakspear etc on handpump.

Members of Middlesex County Cricket Club have their own separate club-room, where Pedigree is usually available on handpump.

For spectators, there are two bars selling RA: Dark's and Bicentenary. They are open during major matches and sell the Marston's range. They can be found under the stands on the St John's Wood Road side of the ground.

Occasional Beer Festivals are held during games, open to all spectators, selling up to twenty RAs on gravity eg Jennings, Ringwood, Bank's together with Weston's cider (check web-site for dates).

Our photos show the famous Grace Gates which are Grade II listed.

See also the entry for Lord's Tavern, which keeps normal pub hours.

Drove from Bristol and parked at QParking only a stone's throw from Lords which I'd recommend (only £36 so not bad really) if you're staying over but not if you want to get out of West London at 10pm and be home before 2am. That's a different story though. Lords was its beautiful historic quiet special self tonight and the Hundred final couldn't really find a more opposite but fitting home. I did wince a bit as the roadies dragged the half time stages across the outfield (they are quite precious about footwear usually the groundsmen) but the show was great for the youngsters and I can see…

A brilliant day out even if you're not a fan of cricket. I am and really enjoyed myself. Special mention to the stewards who were more than helpful... even more so when they found out it was my first visit.

Home of cricket. Stewards polite and friendly. Great one way systems at break times. Seating padded and more comfortable than other grounds. Meuseuem free if have match day tickets and well worth a visit. Food reflects visiting teams playing. Sri Lankan stalls vibrant and great choice. Everywhere clean.

Had a super day watching England v Sri Lanka. Super clean stadium with plenty of refreshment areas(if a little pricey). Great comfy seats to enjoy the days play too. Had a little wander around the little museum to see The Urn, free entry.

Upper Compton stand was great - fantastic view. Very accessible. Lifts to all floors. Stewards very knowledgable and crowd-control great. Food & drink very expensive so bring a water bottle and a picnic!
