About Real Drinks

Opened in August 2017, this was the first sister establishment of the award-winning ‘liquid delicatessen’ Realale.com, founded in 2005 in East Twickenham. The difference is that, whilst primarily a takeaway bottle, can and keg beer in 'growlers' shop, here a selection of the wares on offer is available for consumption on the premises. Beer is available from 8 taps and live beer is available via keycask; those wishing to sample modern keg beers would do well to start here.

Spread over two floors, the shop includes limited seating for those trying the beers. Events include 'meet the brewer' sessions as well as tastings for private groups.

There is also a varied selection of wines, whiskies, etc.

The company changed its name from Real Ale to Real Drinks in 2021.

Real drinks has been our local hideout for the past 4 months. It offers good beer, good wine and most importantly a great community in an area that really needs one. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and listen to requests for things you like.

Cute, cozy shop with a fantastic selection of craft wines and beers. We organized a tasting event here and Rachel, the store manager, went above and beyond to make our event special - really felt like we were hanging out at a friend’s learning about different wines and beers. Big thanks to the team!

Visited on a random Thursday after husband said he wanted to visit. It's a small venue but the staff are amazing especially the manageress who was so friendly and knowledgeable. This place o a real gem if craft bear and wine is your thing. Already planned to go back.

Pssst. Keep this one hush-hush. This place is Fabulous! But dont tell anyone vecause I wanna keep this precious place all to myself! Friendly and helpful staff, an insane choice of beers and wine. Far too easy to hang out here for an afternoon.

What a great place. They are very attentive, and offer suggestions on what we were looking to drink. Great beer selection in bottles/cans as well as 8 beers on tap. Also a great selection of wine. We will be back, even bought a bottle of hot sauce.
