About North Nineteen
Vibrant, family-run pub with warm red decor, specialising in steaks, real ales and whiskies.
Some visitors during the course of 2022 found no real ale on - so perhaps best to say that supply can be inconsistent. Perhaps 2023 will see greater consistency - in Jan 2023 Hophead reported as being in good form. But at the end of Sept the report back was "no real ale". Hey ho.
Back street community pub, formerly named 'Enterprise', modernised and re-opened after a period of closure, with a major refurbishment it is now decidedly up market from the previous offering. The real ale range was expanded with the opening of a "Whisky and ale bar" although now reduced. Pool Table In Back Bar.
All "home cooked British only" food including a "steak bar" including Sunday roast dinners. The pub has a member's club with a discount of 40p per pint if you join - see their web site for details. The price differential is an incentive for you to join his club and you will get regular email updates as to what is happening at the pub.

🚇 Archway 🍺 £6.00 Martina Lager A Superb Backstreet Community Local. The North Nineteen is located in a quiet residential area sandwiched between Holloway Road and Hornsey Road in Upper Holloway Islington. The nearest Tube is Archway, it’s a ten minute walk to get here. This pub was originally called The Enterprise, built in 1866. The pub was located close by and was demolished by either regeneration or a WWII bomb. The pub was rebuilt and relocated in the early 1960’s. This is a two bar pub that is in the main traditionally decorated with some modern touches here and there. The bar at…

This is a local pub for local people. Don't let that you off though: they're friendly and accommodating even to those of us who don't usually venture here. There is the roof top terrace (in-out or through the gents!!) and the bit out front. There is the pool table, and darts. And music / open mic. There is the friendly bar staff and the locals. An ok selection of drinks and tellys for those all-important games. What's not to like?!

Walked past this pub for years and never thought to pop in...... Went here after a baptism and ended up staying for a comedy show 🤣 Vibes were brilliant and chilled, staff were accommodating and relaxed. Line up for the night were great to boot. Defo a recommend as an off the main road to chill. A hidden gem for sure.

This is the friendliest pub i know. every Tuesday is open mic night there and its one of the those pubs you can go into on your own and you will always talk to someone. Almost like a lounge at home.. i love going there and recommend it without a doubt

One of my favourite local pubs. Great staff, a fantastic landlord and landlady, a real local vibe, dog-friendly, with an awesome terrace and a huge image of the UK's only honest politician on the wall. What a great boozer!!
