About Old Sergeant
Awarded ‘Best Community Pub’ of 2012, this friendly local which was impressively refurbished in August 2018 has also been voted the best place to bring your dog for a drink.
Sale of the pub by Young's to Punch was followed by the departure of the enterprising tenants who had cherished the John Young Room upstairs with its treasured memorabilia of the late Chairman and the Wandsworth brewery. That cabinet is now bare.
The pub remains friendly and welcoming; expect different cask ales to feature.

Food is really great and delicious (Indian dishes) Place is all in one- you can choose to relax and have a drink in their garden or inside and join the activities they have for the day (Quiz Night, Live Band etc) Service- Accomodating and Friendly 100% Recommend

I was there last week and they have started live performances. Their food is phenomenal and the atmosphere just relaxes you. Aaron Wiggett Music performed the day I frequented. Such a talent that lad. 💯

Under new ownership now serving Indian food. A full menu and all very good stuff. Even put a football game on I requested as the pub was quiet. Nice staff and have been telling my local friends to go. Hope it's a success.

Great menu, service and food. We had lunch which consisted of a main and two starters, it was tasty and better than some Indian restaurants. Our server was attentive and very professional, she brought we extra green chillies which added to the service delivery.
