First time visit to see the band playing. The pub looked fine, with a good standard of decor, bar and tables. There's a pool table and lots of large TV screens to cover sporting events - on the night in question it happened to be World Cup football for a bit. The two little security guards are not really capable of dealing with anything more than an overturned chair, TBH; the band started playing and within 2 songs a couple of tall guys at the centre table in front of the band decided it would be a great point in the evening for one to climb on the shoulders of the other, who was sat down and…

Unfriendly to the point of being rude. The barmaid looked like she was chewing a wasp. No hello as I came in and no good bye as I left. She was happy to serve a regular before me despite me waiting longer. Sticky and dirty tables yet not busy. Fragments of weed stems on the dirty garden tables. Hand soap in the lady's loo smells like head lice treatment. Better off at the weather spoons a few doors up.
