About Three Hounds Beer Company

Friendly and popular beer café and bottle shop, which originally opened in 2020 during the Covid crisis, and was able to open more fully during the summer of 2021. The premises are more spacious than the frontage would indicate, and around 50 customers can be seated over two floors, with more benches at the front of the pub. Quickly establishing itself as a local community hub, this is also very dog friendly !

The single small L-shaped bar serves the main room, the contemporary decor displaying artworks (which rotate on a regular basis and are for sale) under bare electric ceiling lights. The basement room is accessed by steep steps and is more intimate with whitewashed brick, hanging sackcloth and framed prints. This plays host to the wide variety of music and other events which are extremely popular.

Up to three cask ales are available as well as an extensive keg beer range of at least twelve taps plus up to six still ciders. Beers are sourced mainly from local and national microbreweries. A selection of Belgian bottled beers are also available.

Up to 150 beers are stored in fridges and are available for off-sales, as well as to have on-site (these also include no/low alcohol beers). Wine, spirits and soft drinks are also available.

Cask Club is held four times a year - mini cask beer festival (advance tickets only), which explores cask ale with exclusive first pours, one offs, rare barrels and classics.

An amazing community hub with knowledgeable and friendly staff, serving a huge selection of drinks with something for everyone. Choose from beers, ciders, cask ales, spirits, wines, non-alkie options and soft drinks - and pair with some quality bar snacks (Serious Pig, take a bow). Plenty of dog biscuits for furry friends and a notice board stacked with events, including comedy, live music, book clubs, tap takeovers, and more. It is very much the envy of my 'non-local' friends (I always take them for a visit when they venture to this neck of the woods), but they can console themselves with…

The three hounds is a great addition to the area. It’s a wonderful place, very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. I love the taps serving quility craft beer from all over the UK breweries. From IPA to Cider and Stout to Sour all styles available. Plenty more cans and bottles sitting in fridges. Better to reserve a table if you want to meet up as it was pretty much full pack when I visited. Great location next to Clockhouse station.

What a popular little watering hole between Clock House and Beckenham. So many drink options, warm and friendly atmosphere, great decor and perfect for a quick pitstop! So glad I found this place.

Very nice beer selection. About 15 seats upstairs and 15 down. Friendly knowledgeable barstaff. Nice to see a 250ml size offered so that I could try a bit of many. Interesting back bar too. We’ll-stocked fridge for takeaway.
