Great stop at the Pelton for the O2. Easy public transport. Clare provided us with note of buses and stops Nice walk next to the river. Room was basic but so convenient for us. Clean bed and towels. Shared bathroom facilities but clean and stocked super smooth stay. Great atmosphere in pub. Nice staff, great location. Exactly what we needed will try to stay any time in area.

I’ve been drinking in the Pelton for almost two years enjoying the music and pizza’s. I’m a local business person and went in there with my colleague and friend last night to see the band. Unfortunately while we were enjoying the music our bottle of wine disappeared from behind us. Our friend who had worked there previously appealed to the barman who replaced it with a bottle with about 1/3 full but we were very grateful. However. My friend mentioned the incident to CLARE one of the bar staff and was told in a very rude abrupt way That it was her own fault and maybe we should drink up and…

Watched England match, been here many times. Ordered 2 bottles of wine, other drinks and food, spending nearly £100. Someone pinched our half finished wine or possibly it was removed in error by someone clearing up, though it was in a bucket. It was very crowded and chaotic in pub. A nice member of staff replaced with another 1/3 bottle. Was disgusted then to have another staff member called Claire complain about the gesture, (though it was nothing to do with her) and then tell me and my friend to leave and was virtually abusive. She literally said " drink up and leave" after also saying it…

Absolutely amazing pub ! It is one of the most traditional I've seen and it is also away from the touristy areas. I'd say it is a hidden gem. The pizza was espectacular! (I can't understand why ppl would go to a place like "Crisp W6" pizza when it's low quality, expensive,oily...) , while here pizza was the best, fresh ingredients, original Italian pizza! Service was quick and kind and we were also lucky enough to enjoy the Thursday Quiz night.

Best pub in Greenwich! The team at the Pelton did an amazing job for our families pre-wedding get together in May. The evening was fantastic. We had tables reserved at one end of the pub. The pizzas were great, the live music was fab, the bar team were really good at running the tab, and keeping the drinks flowing! All very easy to organise with the team ahead of time too.
