About Phoenix
Knick-knack filled update of a traditional pub with a menu of modern British and European food.
Apart from some patched-up twentieth-century exterior brick work, this appears to be the original tavern that was built and licensed in 1794/5, making this the oldest surviving pub in Chelsea. Now more of a gastropub than an old-fashioned boozer but pleasant all the same, deep in the heart of Chelsea, with three cask beers and a friendly atmosphere. Very handy for the Royal Hospital (and its Chelsea Pensioners) and the National Army Museum.

Delicious food found here! Lovely pub just off King's Road with great food and friendly service. It's everything you could want from a pub. Decor is cute with a little library corner. It's always comfortable in here with air conditioning on hot days and a little fire when it's cold outside.

First visit and just drinks... Although the food other people were eating looked amazing so will definitely be going back! Service was friendly and the ambience and decor were both incredibly inviting. Lovely pub.

Came across the Phoenix whilst strolling down kings road. Really friendly staff and the food was delicious 🤤. Definitely need to book to get in, although we were quite fortunate to arrive when it opened so they squeezed us in. But it did get very busy. The Sunday roasts were delightful and worth sampling.

Great food, we had the fish & chips and the chicken snitchzel, fantastic pub grub and a decent pint. Price with tip was just under £60 for 2 meals and 2 pints. The pub itself has a real old school pub feel, it's inviting and warm, the staff are very friendly and attentive. If you want a reasonably priced meal in this area then phoenix is the go to place, good for a meal or a quick pint

Love this pub. It’s consistently good and the service was very friendly. The starters and house burger were excellent but the schnitzel was dry and over cooked and the egg was hard. But overall this is one of the better pubs for food in the area.
