About Plumbers Arms
Compact local with a rotating selection of real ales and a traditional British pub menu.
Built in 1821/2, the frontage dates from 1852 when the bar was enlarged. A Grade II listed cosy, friendly local with beautiful hanging baskets, wood panelling and a delightful upstairs function room with original early 19th century windows, old prints, bookcases and a working bell push. The TV downstairs is usually silent.
The pub sign depicts the arms granted to the Plumbers Company in 1588. History panels inside record the gory story when on 7 November 1974 Veronica, Lady Lucan stumbled in covered in blood and with a throat injury, croaking that her nanny had been murdered. Lord Lucan simultaneously vanished from sight but it was only decades later in a TV documentary that Lady Lucan conclusively linked the two attacks to him.

Decent pub close to Victoria but not on the main road so it's good idea to visit if you prefer less buzz. It's a little bit ran down but I don't mind that, I prefer places like that. Ordered their special burger and again, it was decent, very filling big portion, proper pub grub and I still feel it after good few hours. Chips were just ok, expected some homemade chunky ones. Barman was friendly and seems like a nice guy and can't say a bad word about service provided.

Good time spend here with some friends. Large beers choices and great food bites. Perfect for afterworks drinks with your team

Great Guinness, best I’ve had in a long time, nice chill atmosphere, very reasonably priced especially for the area! Was served by a chap named Ashley who was running the whole pub by himself without missing a beat! Keep up the good work!

Excellent London pub with great choice of drinks and food very close to Victoria, would absolutely recommend. No sign of Lord Lucan despite a thorough search!
