Unassuming pub with 5 real ales on tap and a menu of no-frills pub grub, plus breakfast until 12.
This Marston's pub gets its name from the proximity of East Croydon station and the former Royal Mail depot (now demolished). It is typically busy after 5pm, being affectionately known to station staff as 'platform seven'. A large island bar dominates one half of the pub, with three handpumps and a range of 'craft' taps. The bar leads into a lounge area with curved booths in the corners and a raised dining area. Note that cask ale may not always be available, that last orders are taken fifteen minutes before closing time and that the pub may close earlier than advertised if required.

Friendly, great place to drink! karaoke is the best nights of the week and a free shot for every singer… good or bad doesn’t matter! Lovely manager behind the bar Morgan, Always willing to help and bring out the best recommendations will always be returning.!

I attended as part of a group of 10, organised from work. We had tables reserved and ready for us when we arrived at 5.40pm. Bar and food service was good all night and provided with a smile. We also enjoyed the karaoke - the DJ was excellent, welcoming and supportive of all the participants. I hope we return soon!

Cannot recommend this pub enough. I’ve lived all across London and it’s the first pub that feels like a comfy local. Staff are so genuine (shout out Sam, Liam, Cam, Brandon, Morgan and all the rest of the gorgeous crew) and get to know their customers. Thursdays are best for the wildest kareoke. Got a life long customer here x

Popped in every evening for a quick couple of drinks before making our way back to our hotel. Staff were really nice. Great selection of drinks and loads of seating.
