I go here often, it's quiet and friendly. Very nice little pub

This is a great little local pub that has been taken over by completely new management. The pub is open in the evenings only at the moment as it trays to get going again after being shut for ages. The owner and bar staff are very friendly and I will be making this my local. They have 2 big screens showing sports and an outside seating area that'll be great when the warmer weather comes!

First time visiting since new manager took over For a Saturday night leading upto Xmas was extremely quiet but the few people in there were friendly and we had a laugh the barmaid think her name is Marie was lovely polite and welcoming Have heard few people who went there 9pm during the week it was already closed so unlikely they'll return which is a shame Can be a great community pub again if supported

I agree with the comments here. The food is expensive and we weren’t 100% impressed. All of our food was cold, we returned our sons meals to have it warmed up. Maybe a children’s meal which includes a drink and desert rather than price everything separately would also be good. Saying that the food was tasty, but paying the amount they charge you expect it to be spot on. Aside from that good service, friendly staff. Easy to order via online menu. Good selection of drinks. The outdoor area is impressive. I just feel they need to up their efforts on the food to justify the prices.
