About Queen's Head

Now operated by Market Taverns who run the nearby Lady Ottoline and Perseverance and in the summer of 2022 two handpumps were installed. They might not both be in use at the same time.

This pub was established as The Queens Head in 1812 and then re-built in its present form in 1877. After a long period of closure and conversion of the upstairs floors into private flats, the ground floor re-opened as a branch of Coco Momo in May 2011.

On the exterior, vestiges of its life as a pub still remained which was just as well when, in October 2015, it reverted to its original name.

Card payment only. Board Games available.

This accidental discovery turned out to be a most worthwhile experience, starting with a warm welcome from Heather for both of us and our canine companion. The Filipino barbecue and grill, operating out of a spotlessly clean open kitchen, produces fare that is well worth a visit, or more.

A very cozy and friendly pub in Holborn, walked past many times but never popped in till today. Both ladies working were so welcoming and lovely, will definitely be returning! Banging tunes as well!

Nice place for a drink! Staff were friendly and kind, range of drinks was good, prices were normal London levels. Would definitely go back :)

This was the perfect choice for lunch. The ambiance of the restaurant is soothing and the kitchen is phenomenal. The culinary geniuses are called Turo Turo Filipino BBQ. We had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was delicious - I’d highly recommend it. The cider was also really good and not too sweet.
