This is not the ritz, but the rooms were clean and the staff were lovely, the rooms are on the first and second floor up some quiet steep stairs so bare that in mind, the room we stayed in was clean and had an nice shower room, there was a tv in the room, but no tea making facilities, we drank in the pub and the prices were very good. I would say that if you are just looking for a place to sleep then I would recommend this hotel.

Very tired needs a good freshen up, behind toilet were big holes, sink didn't hold water, shower doors got lots of limescale on it, very hot in the room even with the window open. Bedding and towels were clean ,bed was comfy. Pub itself was dated but served good beer,no food available not even a kettle to make a drink in the room. Price reflects the basicness.

No idea about the standard of the accommodation, but as a pub the Railway is a wonderful east end throwback, cheap drinks for the area, Worthington on draft, nice locals and bar staff. Does its most brisk trade on West Ham matchdays like most boozers in Stratford these days

1 STAR (should be ZERO)... can you imagine there is no water in the shower nowadays? It is room #2 in the hotel. Okay, I requested for a quick check or change to another room, the answer is NO, they didn't check or do anything!!! Besides, I noticed that the communication between staffs is ZERO too, I need to repeat the problem to the staffs. Stay away from this hotel, which is working on 200 years ago standards.

Classed as a four star hotel Lack of amenities was a joke Nothing in room to make yourself a drink Shower worked but only just Went into bar and no tea or coffee was available Room in fairness was reasonable clean but the cost doesn't match the welcome
