About Royal George

Split-level pub with a colourful interior, eclectic food menu, heated outside space and live music.

Located in a modern block built in the 1970s that replaced a building altered by W Ansell in 1887 when St Giles Circus was swept away. There's normally plenty going on of an evening - see venue website under Events. There is a good range of keg beers and the two handpumps serve at least one cask ale; the food menu includes pub favourites, burger night and mid-week lunch offers. See venue website for latest offers.

Last refurbed in Sept 2024.

A hidden gem. We were in the area for a show and looked online for somewhere to have a meal beforehand and The Royal George had really good reviews so we decided to book a table, and we were so glad we did. It is a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The place is really clean and we received a warm welcome and the service was quick. The food was brilliant and we were really impressed with it. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Refurbished in August/September 2024, a great spot for Craft Beer just a 1 minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station. 18 beer lines, with 15 different beers when we visited, mostly covering lagers, IPAs, and Pale Ales, but with a couple of stouts and a cider also. Looks like they rotate their craft beers from the sign above the bar. They've also got a few different alcahol free beers in cans/bottles.

A great hidden gem, just off the main Charing Cross Road. There's great beer on offer, with a great atmosphere to match. There also looks to be a decent area for live music, so hopefully we'll see a band playing if in the area again.

It's really a wonderful and great place to enjoy yourself with friends. And the place is good for date and hookup. If you want to make yourself or your friends happy visit this place THE ROYAL GEORGE is One of my favourite pubs. It's tucked away and has a coo and quirky atmosphere with a good selection of beers. Also has comedy and music nights throughout the week if that takes your fancy. The staffs are smart and friendly. I will visit again soon. 💕
