About Square Tavern
Victorian pub with ornate mirrors, serving bistro & British classic fare, plus small plates.
22/02/24 - no cask beer available - is this a permanent state? News welcome. Note - the Twitter a/c seems to belong to its previous operator etc.
A secluded pub, with a large patio facing into a 1980s redeveloped, residential housing estate, and planted courtyard. Two alleyways provide access from Hampstead Road and Gower Street. Exposed brickwork and low lighting with chesterfield seating make this a pleasant retreat from the nearby tower blocks and busy main roads. Food is served lunchtime and early evening, mostly Italian together with Burgers and Steaks. The bedrock of the pub’s custom is now from the nearby corporate HQs – Debenhams, HMRC, Santander and Facebook. This is a young crowd hence the emphasis on Craft Beers. They also have music on some evenings but not sure whether or not it is live music. Close to Euston main line and both Euston Square and Warren Street tubes.

Came here for work today... The square Tavern was refurbished a couple of years ago by the owners Punch.... This place was finished to an exceptionally high standard. It's clear from the photos that the landlord takes a real pride in this pub and still has this place looking its best. As always I always access all areas when working in a pub and The square Tavern is spotless throughout.. a real credit to the staff and management. The kitchen is also visible from the bar so customers can see that the chef takes hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. This is a large venue nestled in the…

Great place! Main manager man is always really friendly and helpful. Food is good and nice selection of beers. The female waitress is also pleasant! If the cocktail bar was open more often I would be there every night!

🚇 Euston Square 🍺 £6.20 Heineken A Pub Oasis in Central London. Located in a quiet square sandwiched between Hampstead Road and Euston Road is The Square Tavern. The nearest Tube is Euston Square which is just around the corner. Originally called The Tom Tiddler’s Tavern, this Estate looking pub was built in 1982. This location was once full of four story Georgian houses and was the scene of The Battle of Tolmers Square. In the 1970’s activists occupied Tolmers Square after the council attempted to evict local residents and sell the land off to property developers. The developers…

This pub is hidden away close to Eustom Square and Warren Street stations. When you walk through the door, you instantly feel like you are getting away from it all. Great drinks selection. Opportunity to sit outside in residential square. Also has a sister establishment next door called FAIM. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Lovely pub in good proximity to work. Food is pretty decent, staff are friendly. I had an issue with some off wine before but the staff member was very apologetic and rectified it asap.
