I thought I'd try the club, so I came in on Sunday 28/042024 as my friend is a member, and he helped me sign up, which is still pending. The first thing I noticed was that the customers and staff were so friendly. The drinks are very reasonably priced, especially if you pay member prices. I've yet to try the food. I was very surprised to find an immaculate pool table which only cist £1 per game and at that price is absolutely fantastic. What's even more fantastic is they have not just one but two full size immaculate condition snooker tables in a very large room which actually feels like you…

I've only marked it down from a 5 star as it probably needs decorating and "tarting up" a bit. However, everybody is really friendly. Sometimes, when you turn up somewhere new, not everybody seems pleased to welcome you, but here, they certainly do. Bar staff are lovely, and the food cooked by Jackie is amazing, from delicious roast dinners to simple mushroom pasta, not forgetting her wonderful fish and chips. This is the new meeting venue for our Rotary Club, and a very decent place it is too. Everyone is very friendly and the chef, Jacqueline, is fantastic and produces some excellent meals. Looking forward to returning week after week.

I was surprised the first time I visited the club that it had two real ales on the pumps. On my second visit they were still there and were again in excellent condition. Plus the fact the place had a nice busy atmosphere and the prices were very reasonable I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
