Breaded mushrooms - very good Steak & Ale pie - excellent Wagyu burger - good (distribute the moisture a bit. Put the tomato/lettuce on top of patty where they belong?) Overall very good experience. Not sure if ‘Ja Rule’ fits the atmosphere? Would come back.

Had a great experience here. We were instantly greeted by the bar staff when we walked in and directed to just find any table we wanted. We ordered the fish and chips and pie sampler. This was some of the best fish and chips we’ve had in London. They season the batter and it came out crispy. Just the way I like it. The beef pie was our favorite in the sample but each were good. The food came out fast and hot and the beer is good and cold. I’d come back.

First visit 07/19/24 ☆☆☆☆☆ The food was excellent, the staff were very nice. As a tourist, it was hard to find places to just sit down and have a good meal. It felt like everything was grab and go. I got the buttermilk chicken burger with chips (aka, fries), fried mushrooms, a side salad, a strawberry daiquiri, and a Coke Zero. My mom had the burger with chips (she shared my fried mushrooms), tomato soup, and a coke zero. Other than my mom's burger being a little over cooled, everything was great. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. If I ever make it back to London, I'll…

Got back into London later than desired and still wanted a Sunday Roast dinner. This place was close to the hotel, had a sign for roast out front, so we thought we would give it a try. There was only one roast chicken dinner left, so we got that, a salad, a baked Camembert, all to share, and a couple drinks. The roast dinner was a half chicken plus all the traditional sides, in itself it would have been enough food for two. With the other two smaller plates, we could not have possibly finished it all. Everything was very good and the service was fast and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Lovely pub. My friends (tourists) wanted to try fish and chips in a pub, and we found this one. Close to Tower Bridge. I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out that I was very impressed with the food and the service. The style is also very nice and it doesn't smell like the old pubs although it looks old. I also loved the type of customers they have. I will definitely recommend it
