About White Horse
This wide-fronted pub on a busy junction has been registered since the 1780s and retains some historical (although newer) features. A lively pub which attracts a number of regulars, It hosts a DJ on Fridays and live music on Saturdays. Hughie's Room is a large function room with its own bar counter used usually as seating overflow with access from the main bar areas (its bar counter not normally in use). 3 handpumps.

Came here over the weekend for a Sunday roast. The layout was very deceiving from the outside I wasn’t expecting such a nice layout! We got drink then headed to the dining area where we were greeted and seated by a nice young lady with cowboy boots, she was really cool. I ordered the roast pork dinner and my partner ordered the roast chicken dinner. It was a little busy but both plates arrived in good time!! Food, atmosphere, staff lovely and welcoming. Lovely lady wearing reindeer ears (sorry didn't catch her name) served me and my cousin. She was such a lovely vibe, and her customer service was 100!!!! Carribean Roast, scotch bonnet wings, saltfish fritters, mac & cheese was amazing!

I've never been to a pub that sells carribean food and the quality of the food was great. The staff were really helpful when ordering. What I will say is the food can take kind of long to come but I think that is a why the quality of the food is so good. With that said, it's expensive for a pub. There's a pool table too.
