About Angies Freehouse II

Just round the corner from the Union Tavern on the canal but very different, this is very much a traditional boozer with a good mix of local clientele. It's a friendly Irish pub with a Brewer's Tudor look to it inside and out. There are multiple sports TVs showing a variety of sports, and a lot of games machines. No food served

One cask ale handpump was reported in the latest feedback and the drinks are reportedly modestly priced by London standards.

The venue has garnered good reviews on social media.

Proper Irish pub with outside seating in good weather. Guinness is exceptional and only £4.50 a pint. All sports on too

Tip Top service and banter from Leslie , an ex-pat DJ from Los Angeles undertaking part-time bar duties, made my short stay over from Ireland very enjoyable. Old fashioned Irish pub with colourful, well established patrons aplenty. Had a great conversation with Sean from Barrowhouse. I had a pint of Fosters Lager which was excellent. Will visit again!

Local sports pub with very good north London football game atmosphere, not gastro. 3 large screens and 2 small screens with multiple sports live at the same time. My favourite spot for a football game. No one makes a mess and just enjoy the game.

I recently visited Angie's and had an appalling experience that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was unwelcoming, and it only got worse. The staff were not only rude but openly displayed racist behaviour and forced me to leave after being in there five minutes! Such treatment is completely unacceptable and left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and disrespected. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment if you expect to be treated with basic human decency. There are plenty of other places that value and respect their patrons—Angie's is…

Great atmosphere and great Guinness. A good Irish crowd and Irish orientated pub.
