About Union Tavern
Canalside pub focused on craft beers from around London, also hosting tasting sessions.
The pub was built in 1848 as the Pelican Tavern. After further name changes over the next 150 years it was taken over by Fuller's and this is now a part-tied house with a drinks focus on cocktails and craft keg beers; plus generally several ales (so do spot the hand-pumps!)
The mainly young crowd can also enjoy good-value food, with the menu offering weekend brunch and traditional Sunday lunches. But note that alcohol may not be sold until noon on Sundays. The canal side terrace is a delight the year round, but comes into its own on a warm, sunny day.
The pub was last refurbished to a high standard in early 2024. Card only.

The hallmark of the Union Tavern has to be its location on the Grand Union canal. Should be a good spot in Summer. They also have ‘visiting’ beers. I managed to get a tasty wheat beer. Otherwise good pub grub.

Just out for an autumn walk at the Canal when I found this pub. So quick stop for a drink or two. Really nice, attentive & friendly staff giving great service. This pub offering cask n keg with some on fridge. They r offering food as well. Lovely bar n clean flood. I must say they have really clean toilets. Atmosphere is so cool. They didn’t disappoint me even worth to visit. Just few steps from the underground so easy accessible. Love the location at the edge of canal for great view. They have plenty of space out there to canal side for beautiful views. Recommend

This evening I attended The Union Tavern Westbourne Park; a pub I frequent a few times a week and have done for a number of years. I have ordered and drank 2 tequila and ginger beers. The third drink I ordered, I sent back as it had a strong taste of aniseed, only to be told the ginger beer had run out so a different brand was used. My partner was then given another drink but when I was given it, immediately noticed it again tasted off and the colour was different. I was given patron gold. I never order patron gold and always have patron silver. I went to the bar myself to speak to the bar…
