Massive riverside pub with a menu of fish specials, along with an expansive garden.
This Popular riverside pub near Teddington Lock Footbridge was acquired by Fullers in 2009. Since had a major four-month refurbishment and reopened again in May 2019. Features include a conservatory and large garden with a variety of seating styles. Very popular in the summer, with a Pizza shack, barbecues, and hog roasts and a play area for kids. They have their own mooring for customer use. Inside there are sectioned areas for privacy and intimate parties and opposite the bar is a secluded seated 'library area'. Awarded Fuller's Master Cellarman status, the pub hosts many groups and events during the year – Quiz, Pub Choir, Shakespeare in the Garden and Talks. A Loyalty Card scheme operates but not redeemable at weekends.

We had our wedding reception at the Anglers and the whole process was really thorough and organised. Jade was really great with any questions we had and requests. We were able to cater the food to our specific tastes and have a brilliant evening in our budget. The food service was prompt and the bartender assigned to us was really helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a cute little riverside venue to host a wedding reception on a budget - this place is a steal.

Didn't expect anything much of this pub, but the laid-back ambiance, oversized courtyard and decent food (usual crowd faves i.e. pizza, nachos chicken wings) makes this place an excellent place to spend a summery afternoon such as today. The big screens made this place a great place to watch Euros and catchup with friends. I can see why the locals love it.

A nice place to hangout with friends. We were able to book a section and meet after work. The pork rib eye was really nice and soft!! Wide range of choice for drinks as well.

Today was my first time visiting and honestly I cannot recommend enough! we sat outside in the lovely sunshine, we were served our drinks almost immediately. i had the strawberry daquri non alcoholic which was beautiful. I then had the roast beef for mains, with potato’s vegetables and cauliflower cheese. i can honestly say its the best roast dinner i have ever had when eating out. i cannot wait to come back!

We just had our 2nd wedding day celebrations here and it was perfect. Jade and her team were great, super flexible and really lovely. We were running quite late for our lunch booking, ahead of the party we were throwing in the orchard area outside, and so they very kindly set us up a beautiful new table in the orchard for us and our family with no hassle. Jade was so welcoming, even getting us a wedding present to congratulate us, and her team were amazing throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this space and Jade’s team ☺️
