About Kings Head
Renovated Victorian gastropub sporting snugs, log fires and a walled beer garden with vines.
The pub received a significant refurbishment in June 2011 and 2018 to be part of the Raymond Blanc restaurant chain. The original Teddington King's Head dates back to 1689. At least this solves the riddle of which King; it's William III. After refurbishment the pub is now just a long narrow bar at the front with a small secluded area at the end of the bar. There is a real log burning stove in the front bar in winter. The walls are covered by pictures associated with brewing beer. are There is a walled patio at the back (with a fruiting grape vine). Beside the pub is a car park for ~10 cars. The outside front patio area is popular in the summer. The main area of the pub towards the back is now a restaurant - seating 140 people - with an open kitchen where you can observe the chefs at work. A menu for children is available and they can also have half portions of certain items on the a la carte menu. Sunday roasts finish at 5pm. NB. This is now a card only pub.

Lovely find. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The back garden was a wonderful place to sit especially since we had beautiful weather when we were there. Inside was also beautifully decorated. They also do Sunday roast so definitely going to go back to try it as I'm sure it will be delicious judging from what we tasted today.

We just want to give a huge shout out to Natalie who was our waitress this evening! From the moment we arrived she made us feel so welcome and nothing was any trouble to her. She was so pleasant, joyful and professional. She really provided a great service without being intrusive and when we paid our bill she simply said ‘ we hope to see you again soon! And guess what… we will be back soon! Thank you for a great dining experience Natalie - you are an asset to the Kingshead! ☺️

Exceptional staff, especially Harriet who went above and beyond to cater to our amazing 96 year old Aunts needs. It really meant a lot to our family that we were so well taken care of. And the Sticky Toffee Pudding was out of this world..! Cant wait to eat here again.

One of my favourite pub/ brasseries. You can enjoy friendly service, good beers and wide choice of drinks in the pub or visit the restaurant with a choice from specials, the set menu or choose from the Ala Carte menu. Not a huge wine list but offers a varied selection of good quality wines. Great place for lunch or dinner. Lovely outside areas .

Went there for an earl dinner..the back room overlooking the garden is quite fancy and not very pub like. It feels more of a bobo spot rather than a pub. The big grill and the open kitchen are there to be seen and appreciated (and a clever marketing idea) as people will be treated by a nice grill dish which are also the most expensive ones. The quality of the food is lovely, but still nothing to write home about. Good wine menu with different options. The waiters are almost on the younger side, but very lovely and knowledgeable and will be able to help you with your questions. It is pricey…
