About Anglesea Arms

Casual brick-walled gastropub using market-sourced produce in an ever-changing British menu.

Corner local in Brackenbury Village dating from 1866 and which headed upmarket after a 1996 refurbishment. It is still a local but now much more food-led with a restaurant/eating area at rear of bar. Four handpumps of which at least two should be on at any one time; see pub website for cask ales of the week.

Along the long brick wall, the pub has regular exhibitions of work from local artists or photographers.

Outstanding! From start to finish this was such a great experience. I didn’t have a booking I was in the area and hungry. Saxon and Ellie greeted me and were so accommodating. I was recommended a very good Portuguese white wine to accompany my excellent food, and was looked after throughout my dining experience. I cannot thank the team at the Anglesea Arms enough. 100% I will return, hospitality at its best, well done guys.

We went there to celebrate the birth of our grandson with our son in law’s parents. We’d initially been allocated a table by the kitchen and wanted one nearer the bar - but at the time nothing was available. Then the wonderful scarlet (our waitress) came over and said she’d sorted out a better table. This made our evening. Then the food - it was really excellent (paella, chicken, swordfish) and a bottle of champagne. The thing I loved about the place was just how friendly all the staff were - and they seemed to be enjoying themselves almost as much as the guests! Highly recommended and once…

They don't have a vegan option on the menu but they have an off menu vegan option of garlicky orchiette with veg. Very nice! The atmosphere is absolutely lovely.

Wonderful food! The service is efficient and friendly as well. Bit on the pricier side for a pub but the quality of everything makes it understandable. Would recommend for a nice dinner near Ravenscourt Park!

Food is phenomenal, above any other pub I've ever eaten at in London. To call this a pub is almost doing it a disservice, the food is as good as any over-hyped Soho sharing plate spot which will cost more than double. Particularly recommend: Chicken Milanese, Cesar Salad, Bolognese and the Tuna Steak. Cannot recommend this pub enough.
