About Barley Mow
Pub with wood-panelled walls, a function room with a fireplace and beer garden, serving hearty fare.
Pleasant back-street local which is hidden off the Upper High Street. Children allowed in conservatory at the rear, which opens onto a large garden. Smart in a traditional rustic way, with various alcoves and seating areas around the central bar. Old style wooden furnishings and ornate leaded windows complete the effect. Good service, even when busy. Park your car in the top left hand corner of the Upper High Street pay and display car park - a short alleyway leads to the pub. The original pub was sited on the opposite side of the road, but the present building is a conversion from three cottages. The smaller, more cosy areas to the left are in the most recent addition. Food served all day at weekends. Beer Festival in July. The changing beer is supplied by Fuller's, changes weekly and may be from another independent brewer. Quiz night on Monday. Live music once a month. Accredited for beer quality during 2023.

What a rare and wonderful find. Food was top tier and servings were huge. We stopped in for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous and quirky interior, and affordable menu. The staff were all super cool, helpful and attentive. The outdoor area is small, cute and full of people and thier dogs. Highly recommend

More of a restaurant with a bar than a pub that does grub. The London Pride was too cold for my liking, it was like drinking the bottled version. Suitable for groups who want to sit, dine and natter.

We visited "The Barley Mow" during the weekday evenings, it was well attended. The Barley Mow has a good selection of beer and cider and a small menu with local typical food. During the 12 days in England I had the best fish and chips here! Next door is a large public parking lot (for a fee). From this parking lot you can enter the garden of the pub through a small gate.

Lovely pub with a great beer garden and good beer and wine selection. In fact may have the best quality wine selection in Epsom. Food is fairly standard but I've not have the Sunday roast that it's know for as it's not my thing.

Love coming to this pub! - a little gem slightly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the Epsom High Street, a short walk away though. Lovely warm atmosphere, gorgeous garden (currently waiting for some warmer days to get a little more busy!), very friendly staff and the new management tending the guests in a very caring manner. The new food menu rolled out recently - rather simple but a good classic comfort pub food with some vegetarian options available, and on a more affordable side, with generous portion sizes. Definitely worth checking out!
