About Olde Kings Head

This one bar pub is claimed to be Epsom's oldest, although the building itself dates from the 18th Century. There are two real fires in winter to enhance the cosy atmosphere. Food includes home cooked specials. There is a small uncarpeted area at one end of the pub dedicated to dining the remainder is carpeted. Decorated with horse racing pictures throughout. A mixed clientele gives this pub a friendly atmosphere. Reputedly haunted by a female ghost. Public car park opposite.

We've been coming here for about a year and a half, usually once a week for tapas. It's a nice atmosphere, friendly people and no loud music - so you can have conversation! The tapas is always good, as per the photo! And it was nice that the pub got in some vegan mayo for my partner when we asked. In the winter there are real fires which is super cosy.

I’ve been coming here for the past 40 years. As a kid with my late dad, sitting outside sipping Coke and Worcester sauce flavor crisp while he had a pint and as an adult. Tons of memory and I hope its door remains open and those memories remain with it.

We went for Sunday lunch and highly recommend the roast lamb. The fish and chips were also quite good. It would be great to see some more vegetarian/vegan options across the menu as they were quite lacking which is a shame. The tapas menu looks great, and is served Monday to Saturday. Roast dinners only on Sunday!

We were a table of 6 kids and 6 adults. Put in last moment and what a wonderful experience. Great food, great host and made us all laugh. Changed the menu for the kids. Nothing was too much trouble. The ultimate customer focused experience! Thank you for looking after the table with the well behaved kids!

Nice tapas at a good price, nice open fire. No parking but a church car park opposite.
