Beech House, Hampton Hill

About Beech House

Located in the main High Street and next door to the Hampton Hill Theatre, the layout has not changed significantly from previous incarnations of this establishment although it’s been considerably improved with this latest major refurbishment as the Beech House in December 2018. Inside is larger than the outside frontage would suggest. There is comfortable seating in the bar area. The large 'dining room' is served from an open plan kitchen/serving counter along a side wall. The décor is modern in style including the ubiquitous (semi covered) plumbing and ventilation pipes along the ceiling. The well positioned lighting contributes to the pleasant ambiance though out. The Mediterranean inspired food menu is extensive and includes traditional Sunday lunches available from 12pm. The patio around the front entrance has a number of tables and chairs.

Fantastic food at a fantastic price - Patatas Bravas, Caesar Salad & Crispy Artichokes for £15, absolutely ideal for us to share as a light lunch on the high street out of the sun on a hot day. Decor is great inside and the staff were excellent. Thank you all for a great meal and we'll done Laura on your first day, you nailed it!

We went to the Beech House for a meal yesterday. The food was exceptional. I had three tapas dishes which were fresh and so tasty. My husband had spaghetti with peas , mozarella and greens. It was perfect. Our deserts were the Portuguese custard tart and the chocolate brownie. I had an elderflower liqueur cocktail , which was really refreshing. The service was prompt, friendly and courteous. We loved it! Thank you for such a lovely evening.

Visited on a Sunday and ordered artisan breads with olive oil/Balsamic vinegar . A friend ordered Garlic flatbread. The artisan breads were the flatbreads no selection whatsoever. We then ordered the roast Thyme chicken advertised on the menu with stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. Arrived without either but the chicken was fabulous so we didn’t comment. Drinks overfilled with ice. On the plus side really good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Just seems very inconsistent and if something isn’t available then tell the customer so they can choose an alternative taking the price into account the…

Avoid for food at all costs. Decent service but the food is horrendously over priced. The kitchen staff lack any passion for food or skill. Sent the bruschetta back as it was effectively some sad halved cherry tomatoes on bread, the steak at £30 each was overcooked (ordered two medium rare and received one medium and one medium well done) and the sauce for the moules mariniere was bland and watery. Incredibly disappointing meal.
