Buzzing, low-lit spot for live music and comedy, plus a games room, courtyard and big-screen sports.
This is a Tardis of a pub, it seems to go on and on inside. There are three drinking areas, though there is only one bar. Each area has its own TV (two of them large). There are two pool teams and a darts team. On Friday and Sunday evenings there is an open mic night. Rear area can be used for functions.

A great size hall with it's own private garden for smokers dave the manager was on hand throughout to help with the music and karaoke playlists we had sent thru earlier and all the bar staff were amazing helping with the food lay out we had provided an amazing night was had by all and would definitely use the brave new world again!! Many thanks to you all👍❤

Had my birthday party here and have to say, it was the PERFECT venue. The room was lovely, having the courtyard for ourselves was an added bonus, and David and his staff went above and beyond to make sure the evening went smoothly and we all had a fantastic time. Such a great place, can’t recommend it highly enough. A big thank you to David and his team.

I recently arranged a Hen Party using the function space at Brave New World and it was absolutely fantastic! The space is great, including private toilets and a garden area. David, the manager, was fantastic in supporting us to organise the event and was also our DJ for the evening- everyone was on the dance floor all night & he catered to a crowd aged 20-80! The bar staff were also warm, friendly and professional! I would highly recommend the venue for events as it is excellent value for money & the team are brilliant! My wife and I had our Wedding reception at the Brave Yesterday. Dave and all of his team were absolutely incredible. They took care of all of our needs, were very professional and helped make it the best day of our lives and the bar is very reasonably priced too. If you have any occasion coming up then book the Brave for a party, you won’t be disappointed!

Visited the Brave New World for the first time ln about 30 years when it was called The Bun shop for my neices birthday party. It was a very hot night but the hall was wonderful and there was an outside seating area to cool off. The bar staff were excellent and really friendly.. the 3 behind bar make a very good team. The toilets were nice and clean... Parking is on road and free. 5 minute walk from Surbiton station. A nice place..
