About Victoria
Classic comfort food in a traditional, stripped-floor chain pub, plus garden with a heated terrace.
A central bar serves three distinct drinking areas of this opened out Youngs pub. There is also a dining area, three private hire areas and a meeting room. Smart modern decor includes painted wood panelling, polished wood floor and several open fires. Home made seasonal British food is served all day, with Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Guest beers are supplied by Marstons and can either be brewed by them or from another brewery, often including local ones. Extended beer garden, which has wooden huts for drinking / dining and astro-turf areas, is very popular in summer when it is served by a Burger Shack and outside bar. Amazing pub! I’ve never been before and from the experience I will be going again. From the moment we walked in the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and had great mannerism's which is always a great start! The food was amazing! We ordered the bruschetta and steak bites for the starter which only started off our eagerness to get our mains as it was so delicious! For our mains we ordered the haddock and chips as well as the burger which was to die for! We even had the chef himself provide us with our meals and ask how it was, which was a nice touch. I asked to have my mums hen do activity ‘Paint the Groom’ at the Victoria. Not only did they say yes to this booking, they also exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to have a large table area in the restaurant area, they allowed my friend to arrive 3 hours prior to the booking for the area to be decorated. Their service was superb. I could not thank them enough. Thank you so much!!

Good food and service in a nice place. Also music selection is nice. We had a sharer and some hummus. A little pricy but no compromise on quality.

We had a party at the Victoria on Sunday for my daughter and had a great time. The space was perfect and the staff were amazing. We were also allowed to decorate the area. Would highly recommend!

Tonight we went to the pumpkin carving night after seeing Matt post about it on Facebook (thank you so much for organising)! We moved to the area 3 months ago and love the atmosphere in this pub - we’ll definitely be back to try the food! The staff were all lovely and we felt very welcomed. Looking forward to more community events!
